Ivy rightly guessed that nothing is more flattering than the right shade of pink in the right weight of soft wool flannel. "Pearls and Pink" is a celebration of classic tailoring and perfect proportion from the crown of the soft pork pie hat down to the white platform pumps. A softly tailored jacket, cut in the front like men's tails, covers a sleeveless cream satin bodice and is coupled with a pencil thin skirt, trimmed at the waist with bright pink buttons (also repeated on the jacket).
